Receiving Agent | Bent Tree Country Club | Dallas, TX

Reports to: Executive Sous Chef | Full-Time | Non-Exempt

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Agent to join our logistics team. This role is vital to ensuring smooth, efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting overall club inventory operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory movements
• Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies during all shipping and receiving activities
• Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area
• Support the kitchen/culinary team with additional tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or warehouse certifications are a plus
• Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to operate heavy machinery heavy carts, pallets, etc. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to warehouse/kitchen operations
• TABC/Food Handlers 

Education:

• High School Diploma 
• Equivalent combination of education and exceptional professional experience will be considered.

Physical Demands:

• In good physical condition to stand and work for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
