To support a leading consumer technology company, the fully remote Creative Art Director will set creative direction for brand and character work across AI products, utilizing generative tooling to produce a wide range of styles and collaborating closely with engineering to refine illustration outputs. Key Responsibilities Set creative and art direction for brand, illustration, and character work across a portfolio of AI products, supporting multiple organizations and senior stakeholders Use generative AI tooling to produce an expansive range of styles and option sets from limited briefs, turning short prompts into well-curated ideas Define and codify illustration and character styles based on AI-generated imagery, ensuring consistency and strong taste in brand and character-facing mascots Required Qualifications 7 to 10 years of art direction experience, ideally in brand, illustration, and character-driven work Demonstrable range across various illustration and character styles, with a refined eye for design Proficient in generative AI image tooling, capable of generating large volumes of styles quickly Proficiency in Figma, with day-to-day experience working and directing within the platform Ability to partner with engineering to define styles and improve model outputs
