Location: Auburn Hills
Pay Rate: $23.00 per Hour
Schedule: 25-30 Hours per Week
Assignment Length: 3-6 Months

About the Company

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a company that specializes in the development and manufacturing of highly engineered plastic products. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support the accounting team in a temporary, part-time capacity.

Position Summary

This role is ideal for someone with administrative and data entry experience who is comfortable learning new systems and processes. While prior accounts payable experience is beneficial, the company is primarily looking for a dependable individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately process information. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the Accounts Payable team
• Verify and review invoices submitted through the Rillion system
• Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable inbox
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records
• Assist AP Coordinators during absences or periods of increased workload
• Ensure invoices and related documents are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Support daily accounting and administrative functions as needed

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, clerical, or data entry experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to learn and navigate new software systems quickly
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently
• Accounts Payable experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience with Medius software is preferred but not required
